EasySpheres defines a new quality directive

Every EasySpheres order ships with a Certificate of Conformance in the box, one for each alloy and diameter on the order. The certificate is not a formality: it is the same lot data we use internally to accept product into stock, and it gives your quality team everything needed to trace the spheres on your board back to the source lot.

What the certificate covers

• Alloy composition. Measured weight percent for the main components and each impurity, printed next to the IPC J-STD-006 standard limits so conformance is visible at a glance.
• Physical properties. Solidus and liquidus temperatures and specific weight for the lot.
• Size. Nominal diameter and tolerance, a mid-point size distribution for the inspected sample, and the statistics behind it: standard deviation, minimum, maximum, mean, Cp, and Cpk.
• Sphericity. Distribution and statistics for roundness across the same sample.
• Inspection. Visual inspection result, luminosity reading, date of manufacture, and date of test.
• Traceability. The EasySpheres lot number, part number, quantity shipped, country of origin, ship date, and product expiration, which is two years from the date of shipment.

How traceability works

Each shipment is assigned an EasySpheres lot number that is tied, in our records, to the source lot it was drawn from. That lot number is printed on the certificate and on the QR-coded label of every jar or reel, so a jar on your shelf can be matched to its certificate, and the certificate to the full source-lot inspection data, at any time. Product is held sealed in controlled inert storage and shipped first in, first out.

Our quality position

EasySpheres is not third-party certified at this time; we run our business to the standard mandated by our ISO 9001:2015 quality manual. Along with the certificate, RoHS and REACH declarations, a conflict-minerals statement, technical data sheets, and safety data sheets are available for every product, and we are glad to complete customer quality questionnaires and flow-down reviews on request.
